I'm on the hunt. I send out resumes everyday. I went on some interviews. I found a perfect position at a hospital 15 minutes away, and so I applied. I just got a letter thanking me for my application, but letting me know the job is no longer open. But then I went to their website and the job is still posted as open. WTF!
Another month working as a coffee shop whore won't kill me, but another 6 will!
Enlightening people with the wonders of the Yiddish language and the perils of my day to day existence. Totally.

no diamonds, no bands, no parent's friends
m and i decided to get married in a couple of years. we were thinking about having a small party with my family and our friends in nyc, and doing the marriage thing in a courthouse, or however that works. we want to pay for everything ourselves. we want it small and casual. we don't want to register. we don't want to invite my parent's friends. everyone is giving me shit about it. what do you think?

overdue musings
1- Sometime around Easter I was backing up into my parking space and heard a crunching sound. I got out, looked at the ground under my tire, and saw a 6 inch metal cross with a broken Jesus.
2- During my bro's wedding in little Russia, a transvestite broke onto the dance floor, grabbed the mic, and started singing I Will Survive.
3- I've never been on a roller coaster.
4- I recently got cut off by a student driving instructor.
5- I spent the past week in a psychiatric hospital. It was part of my internship rotation.
6- I eat a lot of bacon and butter.

Ode to Wallace

Wallace is a beauty. He belongs to my bff J and her man A. J and A took Wallace to doggy boot camp and he is now the most well trained dog that ever was. Seriously folks, if you put food in his bowl, tell him to stay, and then walk out of the room, he will not move until you come back and say OK. He is a genius. He is also my Goddog (hey, that's a palindrome). I'm not sure if Jewish dogs are supposed to have Godmothers, but whatever. Thank you J and A for raising such a lovely pup.

I'm a denier
I deny the existence of Holocaust deniers. I think I'll hold a conference.
In other news, life is good. The internship is halfway over. Community nutrition and food service are dead to me. I never want to see them again. On to the hospital and real work. I stole from A! just now.
M is in Chicago, then MN, then CA. I am living it up with the apartment and car all to myself. The best part is, when I come home, the place is exactly how I left it. Oh, and no tiny hairs on the sink. How I loathe tiny hairs. Miss you darling.
How come nobody participated in my last blog? What's wrong with you people? That's good stuff. Do it. Now.
Besos,
me
